The brand was officially launched in 2011 by designer Vanessa Wu, when she was just 25. She grew up in a family of footwear wholesalers, so she learned the trade from the inside before creating her own label. The brand\u2019s first name was Vanessa’s Secrets, changed two years later to Vanessa Wu.<\/p>\n

Today, Vanessa Wu has its offices and showroom in Paris\u2019s 11th arrondissement. The brand\u2019s iconic design is the lightning-bolt sneaker (\u201cbasket \u00e9clair\u201d), launched in 2019.
